According to the < Long Term Development Program for Renewable Energy> published by National Development and Reform Commission on 4th, in the coming 15 years’ time, China will employ a number of solutions to speed up development of wind power, biomass power and solar power and other renewable energy. The program shoots at raising the consumption amount of renewable energy to 10% of the total by 2010, and 15% by 2020. But now the consumption is only about 8%. By 2010, the country’s hydropower installed capacity will have been achieved 190 million kilowatts, and 300 million kilowatts by 2020. The total installed capacity of 2005 was 117 million kw. By year 2010 and 2010, biomass power will have been achieved 5 million and 30 million kw respectively, and annual usage of biofuel such as ethanol, will have been achieved 2 million and 10 million tons.
