With the Spring Festival holiday winding down, China's railway system is gearing up for a flood of passengers returning to cities to get back to work.
Extra trains are going back in operation in all parts of the country. The Guangzhou Railway Bureau started making arrangements on Wednesday.
It has laid on 20 more night trains from Guangzhou to Shenzhen.
The Nanchang Railway Bureau has 33 extra trains in operation. The Nanjing Station has 10 extra trains.
And for the first time, the Fuyang Station in Anhui province has set up a ticket office in its rural suburb to cope with the post-holiday peak. |
